Dr. Moumita Majumder

I'm Dr. Moumita Majumder, working as a Postdoc Research Associate with Professor William L. Hase at Texas Tech University, Texas, USA. 

 

After completing my M.Sc. degree at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) in 2007, I joined Professor N. Sathyamurthy research group at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) in 2013 for the Ph.D. program.  There I was involved in the study of non-covalent interactions in various molecular clusters and their influence on proton NMR spectra. Afterward, I spent a year and a half in the research group of Dr. Richard Dawes at Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA, as a Postdoc Research Assistant and worked on development and application of methods to construct accurate potential energy surfaces for systems that interest to atmospheric and combustion chemistry. Presently, I am working on a project that involves computational modeling of interfacial chemical reaction under extreme conditions.
